US DOLLAR INDEX HARMONIC CHART - MONTHLY

Harmonic Arcs show the intervals in a musical scale radiating from a key pivot. Not all arcs are Fibonacci, but Fibonacci is contained within a music scale.

Arcs should be respected by the market in past pivots behind the point of origin, as seen here, to increase the probability that future harmonic relationships will respected.

US DOLLAR INDEX HARMONIC CHART - WEEKLY

Currently in late September, 2002, the US Dollar Index is hugging an Octave boundary. (RED Arc). When the dollar breaks into a new lower octave it will likely be a fast market to the next arc defining time and price support.

Color changes denote the start of a new octave. A stall at the boundary is significant.

Octaves denote the repeat of the harmonic music scale an exact 1:1 ratio higher or lower.

The chart at right is a Pythagorean diatonic scale.

Compare this chart with the first monthly chart on this page. They show different scales and keys.

The harmonic scale for the Dollar Index shows the dollar topped at an exact octave boundary.
