US DOLLAR INDEX GANN ANGLES - WEEKLY |
The US Dollar is rebounding from a Gann target zone in September 2002. The support zone formed when two Gann angles were projected from major lows. The black lines are the angles in review. Gann used angles 1:1, meaning for every unit on the x-axis an equal unit on the price scale defines the angle. The 1:1 ratio would form a 45 degree angle. WD Gann also charted 1:2, 1:3, 1:4, 1:8 and 2:1, 3:1, 4:1, 8:1. |

The same chart for the US Dollar Index now shows the days projected from key market pivots. The most recent high in the dollar was exactly 120 periods from a significant price low and 30 periods between the double top formation. Gann Wheel can be used for both price and time. It must have June 21st on the top. The year can be divided into angles as the soltice and equinox must fall on the 90 degree divisions of a circle. the 120 days in this chart fall on an exact third. |

S&P 500 INDEX GANN ANGLES- QUARTERLY |
One of the most important charts for the S&P500 is at left with the price low prior to September 2002. Gann projected angles from key pivots...as well as from the zero line that aligns directly under key pivot highs and lows. The S&P fell to this exact target. The trendline is critical. |
